Yes it is! This Chrome extension is fully free and will always
be! The coming-soon mobile version will have some preium features
but not this one!
This extension is really fast! Its highly optmized to handle
hundreads of filters and not slow your navigation down! And
its tested an all the top 20 most popular websites in the
world!
Fear not, you are in control of your filters, just click the extension icon
in the top right corner and click the underlined "Options", there you can
see the list of everything you have hidden away, click the red "x" to un-hide it!
From my testing it doesn't work very well, it doesn't hide the channel on search results,
only in recommended/suggested videos, and unlike this extension it requires
one many clicks because you have to navigate to a specific section of their profile.
Also it can't block by word selection, if you want to hide all videos with "Kanye West" in the title
you can't do that with YouTube's block feature, but with this one its a breeze!
Thats true, if you find it easy and pleasent to write your own selectors
to create your own filters for "Ublock Origin" or any similar extension then I
believe this extension is not for you, for everyone else this
is a great option and I will make sure to improve it to make
it even faster and smarter.
If so please fill this form
and include the website that is giving you trouble! My
goal is to make it work on as many websites as physicially
possible (or should I say digitally possible, lol)
There is zero tracking, it doesn't even have analytics, everything is offline by default;
if you don't login by Google then your filters are only stored locally on your computer,
but this means you may more likely to lose them if you clear your browser data. Even when logged in
we never send full URLs to avoid any privacy or safety issues, meaning only the domain name and the filter itself,
for example: "youtube.com" and "pewdiepie".
Yes! Just click the extension icon in the top right corner
and then click "Login with Google" and they would be saved on the cloud.
